Maro’s apartment’s a newly built studio in Karteros, with wonderful view of mountain and sea (just opposite Dia Island), in a peaceful environment, inside an olive grove, in walking distance from the beach. The studio is situateded in a traditional Cretan Olive grove in Karteros. Karteros has a unique landscape, just outside of Heraklion city. You can visit all the museums and antiquities, return home to relax, and just walk to the beach. Or you can explore the nearby gorge, or relax at night and have a barbecue. The studio sleeps 4 people in one double bed and in one double futon bed. Easy access, 5 minutes from the airport, 10 from Heraklion port, close to national road entry exit to Chania and Lasithi (west and east Crete). You have your own garden and shared secured parking space, also there is a shared barbecue area. The owners live in a house just above the studio, having a large garden to separate us, with fence. Therefore you maintain your privacy and comfort, yet they are there if you need anything, to help or provide (from advice or a cup of coffee). The owners cultivate vegetables, and there is a large fig tree to try as many figs you wish. The tranquilIt is the factor that makes Karteros unique. If you want action you are a short drive from it (Heraklion 7 minutes, Hersonissos 15 minutes, Malia 20 minutes). Lots of nice sandy beaches, with sun beds and umbrellas are all around. Public transport is close by (the bus stop is 20 meters away) and there is a bus twice a day. You are strongly recommended to rent a car to enjoy the island to the full. The studio is brand new, furnished with IKEA furniture, quality electrical equipment, colorful and pet friendly. Ideal for value for money long term vacations for families or couples.
