Aetovigla Guesthouse

These cottages, situated the eastern slopes of mountain Psiloritis at a height of 800 meters, are located 25 kilometres west of Heraklion City and only 4 kilometres from the historic village of Kroussonas. Aetovigla Guesthouse disposes 11 detached and fully furnished cottages built according to the local architecture and with respect to the natural surroundings. All units are complete with living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Each unit has central heating, fireplace and big verandas with unobstructed views. Aetovigla Guesthouse has an outdoor swimming pool, a cafe and a traditional tavern where quests can taste local specialities prepared with natural Cretan products. The area offers great activity opportunities such as trekking along a path parallel to the gorge of Agia Irini, or visiting the Minoan city of Zominthos in Psiloritis and the historic village of Anogia 10 kilometres from the hotel. Kroussonas is built on the eastern slopes of Psiloritis , the highest mountain in Crete, at 1,510 feet above sea-level.
